Getting Started

• Create your household. Sign in with Apple or Google, enter your name and a household name, and you are in.
• Invite the other parent. Settings › Invite a parent creates a link. Whoever opens it and signs in joins as a parent.
• Add your kids. Settings › Add a kid creates a profile and a short claim code. On the child's device, choose "I have a code" on the sign-in screen (or open the link you share) and enter the code. Kids never need an email address or an account with Apple or Google.

What's Inside

• Board. Spaces for the things your family is working on. Capture an idea in two taps, propose it, and move it from Idea to Aligned to Done. Small things can be handled with "Just do it"; bigger ones go to the weekly meeting.
• Chores & Payday. Everyday contributions are just part of being a family. Allowance is unconditional. Paid jobs are on the job board, claimed by kids, and approved by parents. Payday settles at the family meeting. Homeroom keeps the tally; money changes hands however your family likes.
• Goals & Habits. Each member sets a quarterly goal with a weekly signal, checks in weekly, and builds tiny anchored habits. Progress is measured over a rolling 30 days, not streaks, so one missed day never wipes anything out.
• Meeting. A short guided weekly family meeting: celebrate wins, work through the discuss queue, settle payday, and pick next week's focus.

FAQ

Does Homeroom need an internet connection?

Yes. Your household is shared across everyone's devices, so the App talks to our servers to stay in sync.

Can a child sign in without an Apple or Google account?

Yes. A parent creates the child's profile and a claim code; the child enters that code. That is all a child ever needs.

Does the App move money?

No. Chores, jobs, allowance, and payday are bookkeeping only. Homeroom never holds or transfers money.

Why did I not get a notification?

Homeroom deliberately sends only a few notifications a day, and none during quiet hours. Check iOS Settings › Notifications › Homeroom if you see none at all.

How do I delete my account or my family's data?

Settings › Delete account. If you are the only parent in the household, this deletes the whole household and all of its data, including children's profiles. You can also email us and we will handle it within 30 days.

Is my family's data private?

Yes. No ads, no tracking, no selling data, and each household's data is isolated to its own members. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
